Duties: Manage the structural engineering department, consisting of four engineers in training and seven CAD technicians. Responsible for the production of more than one hundred projects each month. These projects were a wide variety of scope and complexity, including residential foundations and frames, concrete tilt-wall structures, light gauge residential and commercial structures, structural steel office buildings and retail centers. Department conducted field inspections of commercial and residential projects to verify compliance with engineered plans, and provided construction consulting.

Duties: Designed concrete, post-tension concrete, structural steel and composite steel structures, including parking garages, office buildings, etc.

Graduate Research Assistant, University of Texas at Austin 1996 to 1998

Duties: Designed test to investigate minimum reinforcing requirements for concrete columns. Implemented and monitored the test. Analyzed test data, and produced technical papers to disseminate the results and make recommendations to code committees.
